Day 23 - Liverpool: Golf (aka "me" day)

Ahhh life on the road. We are in a very nice Marriott with a great bed; but it didn’t help last when I didn’t fall asleep until 5:00 this morning. Which wouldn’t matter except I was being picked up at 8:00 for my 9:00 tee time. 

I get to the course and it took a member to get me through the locked gate. I step into the pro shop ready to pay for my round and the pro says ‘It was yesterday’! Wait, what??? I said I called last week and he said yes and the tee time was yesterday. Sigh, ok do you have anything this morning? Nope, not until 1:00. 

Ok, I’m resilient. I return to the parking lot, call a few courses and find another course that will let me on at 11:00. Since I have 2 1/2 hours to kill, I take it. It’s 2 miles away, but again with nothing but time, I start walking. At least it didn’t rain on me😂😂😂😂.

As for Martha, she is enjoying some "me" time with her computer and watching her 900th episode of The Big Bang Theory, as it seems to be the only consistent program on UK TV. She is also brushing up on her sublimation crafting skills so she can hit the ground running when we get home - she will be making all of the swag towels for this year's golf tournament.
