Did you know the Titanic was built in Belfast Harbor? Do you wonder, as I do, if there’d be all the museums about the ship if it hadn’t sunk? It was the biggest ship of its time and part of a three ship class: Olympic, Titanic, Britannia. One woman survived a shipwreck on all three ships! https://historyofyesterday.com/miss-unsinkable-the-lady-who-survived-the-titanic-and-two-other-shipwrecks-b334a21a49ee
There were not many pictures to be had at the Titanic museum, it was more reading and watching and interacting. But I thought this was a very powerful plaque on a huge Titanic lesson learned about lifeboats and lifeboat drills.

We learned earlier in the week that those loyal to the Queen paint their curbs red, white, and blue. Those loyal to Ireland paint the curb green (Catholic), white (peace), and orange (Protestant). We saw a UK curb today.
Belfast is a very cool city and we recommend a visit. Hopefully you will enjoy the excellent weather, as we did.
