Day 53 - Belfast: Walkabout

Linda is in the house!!!!!!! (My sister in case you didn’t know).

And, in Belfast it’s elephants, not giraffes…

And, they have a Hell Cat Maggie’s Liquor and Pub… so of course we went there! They had a sign on the counter that if you bought a pint, you could win tickets to the Northwestern v Nebraska football game. I asked the bartender and another patron if they were interested and they said, “Not in the least”, lol.

And, we met true Irishmen (Ryan in black, Wesley in a jacket, and Jenna) who tried valiantly to explain the politics, religion, The Troubles, curb paintings, etc… I got tired head and vowed to read more about it. It’s way more confusing than the bullshit in the US, and much longer running. And I’m not sure anyone is over any of the disagreements, no matter what they say.
