Day 42 - Moving Day: NCL Star

We are on the move again. Today we embark on a ten day cruise that stops in Greenland and Iceland. Amazingly, there are three stops in Greenland. We will fill you in on them as we encounter them. There are also four stops in Iceland. The weather is holding out, it rained overnight, but it’s just been cloudy today.

And today stated off awesome as Jason brought a bottle of Veuve Cliequot to breakfast! Who are we to turn down this gift?

After a quick but awesome scooter ride to the nearest pharmacy (Maggie has been fighting a cold for a week) we left for the ship. As an aside, due to the cold, no one was more excited to get a negative Covid test than me.

The NCL check-in process was awesome. Drop your pre-tagged luggage off in one area, go through security, go through Covid area, show your negative test, your vax card, and your passport, and move to the check in line. That took about 10 minutes to snake through, fill out the “I am healthy form”, take another picture (we submitted one so I didn’t understand why we did this), and grab your cruise card. Then exit the staging area, take a selwalk up the ramp and you are on the ship.
