Day 39 - Reykjavik: Getting here and walking around

As you saw from the pics of the Runway Bar, we enjoyed ourselves last night, so when the alarm went off at 5:00am this morning, well OUCH!
We made it to Heathrow and through security, FastTrack is a definite plus, with no issues.
We flew to Iceland on British Airways, which has the worst boarding process in the history of boarding planes. Trust me on this and do not make me explain or relive it again. Suffice it to say, we got on with our luggage and made it to Reykjavik.
Once we deplaned, we were in gen pop at the airport and it threw us for a loop. At DFW you are secluded until you go through passport control. Here, you mix with everyone and then there’s an escalator and ahhh passport control.
Made it through that unscathed, although the agent did ask Martha if her husband wanted to come up with her, waving at the man behind her, lol.
We found our driver and trekked to the hotel. He pointed out a few sites along the way: the blue lagoon and a previously erupted volcano.
