We stopped off at Old Nags Head bar, which conveniently has two entrances on opposite streets. This is because if your significant other is looking for you, you can slip out the other door and technically, you aren't sneaking out the back door. Conveniently, across the street from the Old Nags Head is The Rising Sun with the same setup. So, with a few minutes warning, you could be three streets away before anyone is the wiser.

Next stop was Peaky Blinders which is also a fantastic TV show on Netflix, albeit extremely violent. It is based on real life in the early 1900's where a street gang wore flat caps called a "peaky" and they hid razor blades in the lid. They could headbutt someone and serious wound or even blind someone.

We were minding our own business when all of sudden the streets filled with bicycles parading through Manchester City Center - hundreds of them. I asked the bartender what was going on and his first response was, "are they naked?" I said, "no, does that happen often?" He said, "all the time here. There is no rhyme or reason to it - just a bunch of college students expressing themselves." They were very organized with a DJ on a bike and at least 4 large speakers riding along.
