After the Beatles Tour we headed to the wharf.
Of course we had to do the Liverpool Wheel. It has 42 cars one of which is VIP with champagne. We passed on that and we’re just regular people.
Then we roamed around into shops and pubs.
It’s a very nice waterfront along the River Mersey that leads to the sea. The White Star (Titanic) was founded in Liverpool. The Titanic was funded in Liverpool, built in Belfast, and sailed out of Southampton.
These two birds on top of the The Royal Liver Building face opposite directions. One looks out over the sea watching over the people who leave. The other looks out over the city watching the families that remained behind. If the birds ever turned to look at each other, they would fly off and leave the city in ruin; as the protection is gone.
I met a woman when I was waiting on my post golf Uber and within 90 seconds she mentioned about 20 things we should have seen but did not! Next time lady.
