We spent another day immersed in Harry Potter. This time at the two part play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Part I began at 1:00 and ended around 3:30 and Part II began at 6:00 and ended about 8:30. We both enjoyed the play but I think we both thought it could be shorter. I know in NYC they’ve made it one show. I’d be interested in what was cut out.
All the major characters in HP make an appearance or have a reference in Cursed Child. Plus there were several new characters including Harry’s children and Draco Malfoy’s son.
SPOILER ALERT: If you plan to see the play, stop reading now…..As we were sitting in our seats before the play and during intermission (aka halftime), Martha noticed the walls of the theater were a bit different. If you looked closely, there was writing in “invisible” ink. Sure enough, at the end of Act 3, secret messages were revealed.
In between plays, we roamed around SOHO and Charring Cross Road. It was another gorgeous day in London.
We are in early this evening as we’ve learned we cannot keep up with the O’Flaherty sisters and need to get our sleep tonight because tomorrow is moving day.
